Writing holidays in Spain

Sometimes writing about you and your life can be difficult at home with all of the distractions and day to day hustle and bustle.

These holidays are designed to get you away from all of the clutter and give you ‘you time.’ Your holiday is designed with you in mind,  Following a discussion I work with you to find the best way to meet your needs and help you to get your book started.

I work to help you to uncover what to write about, how to write it and how to get it into shape for (self) publication.  As a coach I am highly aware of how life writing can open up some unexpected emotions and so I gently help you to overcome these and make it possible for it all out in a positive way.

There is something about being far from home and distractions which inspires us to write.  Many of us produce our best writing when left alone without the cooking, washing and nagging from the kids, pets or partner.  So come and join me and get your book started.

2013 is the year of the story and is an amazing time to find space, time and motivation to get your work started.

Writing holidays in Spain are in the Almeria region.  The closest towns are Arboleas, Albox and Albanchez. Good road networks give excellent access to the rest of the Costa Almeria with beautiful beaches only a 30 – 40 minute drive away.  You will work in peace, quiet and tranquility.  The rambla is a stones throw away from my house for beautiful country walks to help get some air and reflection time.

You will be staying in a local hotel or Bed & breakfast.  Every day you will come to the house for coaching.  In fact, how we spend our time will be down to you.  What is important is that you get maximum value.

Flights and travelling to the workshop are extra.  Pick ups from Almeria airport can be arranged, Alicante and Murcia airports are also available, but are much further away.

Other writing options:

Come to Spain, work with me as your coach and mentor we will tease your book out of you, brainstorm ideas, create an outline and get you writing. I am on hand to work with you at your pace and to your objectives.   Or you can work with me as your ghost writer, we spend this time together to uncover what your message is and how you want it portrayed, I then write it for you (additional costs for continuing to ghost write your book after your holiday)

Price dependent upon length of stay and coaching requirements. Ghostwriting services please budget £50 per hour, and will vary depending upon what your actual requirements are.

At Châteaux Ventenac we believe everyone can write and that journaling is the foundation to all writing.  It is the place where all ideas and thoughts can be captured and reflected on.  In this series of workshops we explore starting to journal, creating stories/articles, transforming them into blogs and growing your following.
